Podpora IDN in punycode v IIS

Odkar so na voljo domene s šumniki, lahko naletite na novo težavo pri izdelavi spletne strani

 

IDN domene lahko vsebujejo ne-ASCII znake, med tem ko DNS sistem sprejema le ASCII znake. Kaj sedaj?

 

Punycode pretvorba

Punycode je sistem enkodiranja za pretvorbo iz IDN poimenovanja v ASCII. Vse IDN pretvorbe se začnejo z  “xn—“.

 

Kaj je potrebno narediti v IIS?

 

1.  

   • Open inetmgr

   • Remove the default binding

   • Add a binding to café.br on port 80

   • Open %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and enter the punycode representation of the servername. Add the following to the file

     • 127.0.0.1 xn--caf-dma.br

   • Turn off any proxy settings so the request goes against the local DNS only.

   • Make a request to  http://café.br  and http://xn--caf-dma.br  and you should see the default page
